1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the "RenewGuard" app (the "App"), provided by CoreElements ("we", "us").

2. Description of Service

RenewGuard is an app for personal subscription management: tracking, budget overview, calendar view, and local reminders for cancellation deadlines. RenewGuard does not cancel any subscriptions automatically on your behalf — the app only reminds you in time.

3. Registration

Use of the app requires signing in through Google or Apple. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter (in particular subscription information).

4. No Warranty for Cancellation Deadlines

The cancellation deadlines and reminders you enter are based exclusively on your own input. We accept no liability for a reminder arriving in time (e.g. if notifications are disabled or due to device issues) or for the correctness of stored deadlines. Responsibility for cancelling on time with your contractual partners lies with you.

5. Availability

We strive for high availability of the app but do not guarantee uninterrupted use.

6. Termination / Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account. This irrevocably removes all of your data.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as under applicable product liability law. Beyond that, we are liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service if the app or the legal framework changes. We will inform you of material changes within the app.

9. Governing Law

German law applies.
